No check-in or check-out, that is the motto of this wonderful unique hotel. Set in the picturesque village of 'Lovedale' in the Hunter Valley region, this place is a great find. Tonic is honest, down-to-earth and really feels like home, in fact it really is a real 'Tonic. It's designed to waken up your senses, designed in modern steel and glass surroundings, which feels like an artist at work. The family run hotel, is so much more than luxury boutique accommodation.
Upon booking your stay, you will be given a room number and entry is the last 4 digits of your credit card. No need to sign, they add everything to your bill and email you a receipt. It's non-invasive and very informal. The rooms have wonderful views over the valley, cosy furry slippers and a full size bath with Aveda products to pamper yourself. The fridge is fully stocked with wine, beers, and your breakfast! (No need to even get dressed in the morning). There is even a 'tonicshop', which has all those little extras you may have forgotten, candles, condoms and even torches for if you venture outside at night!
Other facilities include a fantastic pool, ample parking and a great concierge service, who can plan everything from wine tours to massages. Need we say anymore?
